Hi, my name is Hicham, I am currently studying in Springboard to a Dec, and I am planning to do my Business Management classes next semester. The glossary that I have made is related to Business management. The most frequent notions that are used in this field will be addressed to help current and new students familiarize with them and expend their knowledge.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), is the top executive in an organization. That top executive can have many titles. The top executive can also be a managing partner or president. Most organizations are replacing the title of their top executive with CEO.

A rival organization that is engaged in commercial or economic competition with others.

A formal agreement between two or more parties. A document that states the terms of such an agreement. The branch of law treating contacts.

Something, typically money, that if owed or due.

A business organization, such as a corporation, limited-liability company or partnership.

A franchise is a type of license that a party (franchisee) acquires to allow them to have access to a business's (franchisor) proprietary knowledge, processes, and trademarks in order to allow the party to sell a product or provide a service under the business's name. In exchange for gaining the franchise, the franchisee usually pays the franchisor an initial start-up and annual licensing fees.
